Designer, who are thou?
Jun 8th 08A poll by AIGA and Adobe asks for the characteristics of the designer of 2015. Besides the rating of competencies they also postulate five potential major trends (Expanded Scope, Wide & Deep, Break Through, Sharing Experiences and Targeted Messages).
This attempt for self-discovery somewhat reminds me of Steve Psomas’ article at UXMatters that presents a great overview of the five competencies of UX (Information Architecture, Interaction Design, Usability Engineering and Visual Design). [Via]
