Us and Theme

The New York times recently wrote about the new iGoogle Artist Themes. High profile artists like Coldplay, Dolce&Gabanna, Jeff Koons and many more offer customized themes for users of Google’s dashboard service iGoogle.

Some are very appealing and this definately fits the human need to personalize everything and else. However I fear is that users are apparently willing to pay for this like the NYT author is. So one day we might have the same nerve wrecking ads in popular web apps just like the ring tone commercials in public tv *sigh.
